"I recently stayed two nights at Waitakei Resort and had a wonderful experience. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and scenic, offering a perfect escape from the city. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view.
The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any request. I especially enjoyed the resort’s natural hot springs — a highlight of the stay. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options and fresh ingredients.
Overall, I would highly recommend Waitakei Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and refreshing getaway. I hope to visit again soon!"

"The hotel is very new, the facilities are very complete, the kitchen is laundry and dry, the bed is very comfortable. The front desk got off work very early, but Ctrip’s order had a problem, and the hotel staff had been helping to coordinate the stay and praised one. It is necessary to criticize the background efficiency of Ctrip, and the hotel will only receive confirmation after a few hours of ordering. There are a lot of accommodation options in Taupo, but this one can still come next time and see many foreigners also live here."

"I booked a Cabin with Kitchen, It did not mention, the Shower and toilet are shared.
When I take the option in Trip.com, The rest of Cabin did mention shared Bathroom and Toilet, Mine did not mention it was shared.
The staff told me to upgrade it to other Carbin with Own bathroom. I said, it should not be a upgrade, it should included. I said : May I talk to the manager? She said, results will be the same.
If it is a shared Bathroom, it should state in decription.
Other than this, everything is fine and good."

"Taobo's hotels are expensive. This one was cheaper than I found at the time. The uncle at the front desk also gave fresh milk, which was really delicious. Also help me call 800 because I don't have a local mobile phone card. But the hotel is not a real lake view room, only some rooms are facing the lake, others are on the side."

"The house is clean, the surroundings are quiet, and it is very close to the lake. You can walk around. It is very convenient to eat and there are many choices. However, the parking spaces are not fixed. If you come back late, you have to park farther away from the room. Overall, it's okay. Motels in New Zealand don't have much service. They're basically self-service."

"Comfortable and premium accommodation option at this area! Excellent breakfast (ala carte and buffet) options were served.
Only downsides were, toiletries have to be manually requested, and that the view was rather misleading."

AAnonymous UserWe had a 2 bedroom apartment in double storey. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Check-in was a breeze. Front desk was very helpful and brought us to our room.
It comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with washer and dryer.
Will not hesitate to recommend The Village Resort to anyone.
It was a wonderful experience staying at this place.

EErma from CanadaThis motel is a basic 3 star facility. The carpet was a bit worn and the bed comfort was okay but could be better. Location is about a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive to shopping and good restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk, but a good Sandy beach would be a 5 minute drive. Nothing fancy but a good value for the price paid.

AAlice BunGreat hotel stay with complete amenities for self cook dinner, located by the lake front with breathtaking sunset set view! And we have new pets for the day, cutie cat welcome us to Accent!
Overall is great except for the insulation around the house not strong enough as it can be quite cold during night ….
Highly recommended for families and groups of friends enjoy the stay here.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent. I stayed in this hotel before the epidemic. I stayed in a three-bedroom apartment on the first floor that time. It was very good. This time we only booked a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor. The facilities and equipment are a bit old, but the bedding and towels are all new and high-quality. There are pots, bowls, induction cookers, etc., hot water in the spa bath and other facilities are very convenient. Downstairs There are washing machines and dryers available, please note that they are available from 8am to 8pm. There is also a BBQ for guests to use, and it is very convenient to check in and out. The cleaning staff are very friendly, but the front desk staff are not too enthusiastic. The overall experience is not bad. I will stay here again next time I come to Taupo. Ctrip has an advantage in price👍

ヨヨッシI stayed just one night. There were 3 people in my room and 8 people is available in my room. There were 4 bunk beds and i stayed the below one. It was so low ceiling so i hit my head so many times 🤣
The bed was not dirty but not clean. The kitchen was small but i think it was enough.
So i am almost satisfied with the hotel. I stayed Haka house Rotorua before, so I expected that Haka house in Taupo also be same quality. But in Rotorua was better hahah please check my review of Haka house Rotorua🙂

GGuest UserVery good, very good car hotel, very clean, bath water is very good, the boss also prepares coffee, tea, coco, as well as milk, sugar. The room can accommodate 2 adults and one child. The quilt is thick and thin and sleeps well.

GGuest UserVery clean amenities, staff were very helpful. Community kitchen is a great idea and we’ll set out with all utensils needed to cook a meal. Would definitely recommend the Silver Fern to anybody.

GGuest UserThe public area is clean, the location is not far from the central area, and it is very convenient for self-driving tours. The basic facilities are simple but neat and clean. It is very comfortable in autumn, and it may be a bit hot in summer because there is no air conditioning in the room. Overall, I am very satisfied.
